Joint US-Europe Meeting

The American Consortium for Small Ruminant Parasite Control (ACSRPC) is meeting jointly with COMBAR (COMBatting Anthelmintic Resistance). COMBAR is a European network that was formed in 2017 by 59 researchers from 29 countries. Its purpose is to develop a coordinated approach for dealing with anthelmintic resistance in dewormers. The ACSRPC was formed in 2003 for the same reason.

The joint meeting will be held August 27-29, 2019, in Ghent, Belgium. The theme of the meeting is Anthelmintic Resistance in Ruminants: Who Cares? Participants will discuss the "who and how" of a shift towards sustainable management practices in ruminant parasite control. More than 100 people from all over the world are expected to attend the meeting.
