ACSRPC Members Honored

Two members of the American Consortium for Small Ruminant Parasite Control were recently honored.

Sue Howell won the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine Research Technician award for this past year. This award is given to one person each year in May at the annual employee awards luncheon. She received a monetary gift in addition to a plaque. She was nominated by Dr. Ray Kaplan.

Dr. Ray Kaplan won the 2018 AAVP-Boehringer Ingelheim Distinguished Parasitology Award. The American Association of Veterinary Parasitologists (AAVP) awarded Dr. Kaplan his plaque at its 63rd Annual Meeting in Denver, Colorado on July 14, 2018. Dr. Kaplan presented a talk entitled “My Parasitological (and Life) Journey”.
