USDA Selling Resistant Katahdins

The Dale Bumpers Small Farms Research Center in Booneville, Arkansas, is having a Katahdin Sheep Sale on August 23. The sheep are available for viewing on August 20-22, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. All sheep sell with breeding values (EBVs) provided by the National Sheep Improvement Program (NSIP). Some of the station's sheep are in the top 1% (of the Katahdin breed) for parasite resistance.
