How to Administer COWP
A series of YouTube videos will be available to assist producers with techniques and principles in control of gastrointestinal nematodes. The first video is on how to properly administer copper oxide wire particles (COWP). Dr. Jim Miller is the instructor in the video, assisted by Hannah Toland, and filmed by Joan Burke. The videos are funded by USDA's Research and Extension Initiative (grant # 2016-51300-25723).
Copper oxide wire particles (COWP) have been shown to reduce barber pole worm infections in sheep and goats. Be sure to read the ACSRPC fact sheet on COWP.
